These kazoos are well made and the membrane stays intact during the weekly kazoo song our band of 50 seniors play every week. Our musicians play keyboard, bass, piano, ukulele, mandolin and banjo and sing songs from our library of over 1100 tunes, and each week I designate a “kazoo tune” so that people who are new to playing an instrument can fully participate in a tune. We ham it up by first showing everyone how to play and then by tuning up to middle C on the piano. We sell the kazoos for $1.25 each but give them away if a person didn’t bring any money.
